Dynastar Skicross 9 vs. Volant Vertex 68

Hi all, posted my first post here last night, with a pretty uncatchy titles. So I thought perhaps this would be a bit better. I'm a pretty small guy (5'6", 160lbs) and have been off the slopes for a few years now, but want to get skiing again. I have an old pair of Rossi 4S Racings at home, and just got some new boots. Next season I'm looking to upgrade my skis. I'm looking for something very versatile, that likes different turn shapes and has great edge grip (I'm an eastern skier). I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience with either of these? The reviews I've read of both are very favorable. Oh and I figured I'd go with probably a 165 or 170 length. I'm probably currently an intermediate (due to rust) but should get back into advanced/expert form once I hit the slopes a few times. Thanks for the help.

I'm curious about the Ski Cross 9 myself - I'm the same weight as you and unsure whether to look at the 170 or 178, leaning towards the 170 I guess for those narrow twistys.
