Gee, thanks!

In all candor, when I wole up this morning I'd forgotten about it (either a failing or selective memory) - until I received an e-mail from dchan wishing me Happy Birthday from the folks at EpicSki!

This year, nolo, to make it "brilliant", I plan more PSIA events to help fill that huge gap in my skills and knowledge. Somehow, with the demands on my time from work and family issues, I'm doubting that Level II will happen until '06 - but, as Confucius is said to have said, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."

Happy Birthday Oboe and I'm sorry I won't get to see you at ETU this year. I hope we can get together some day for a few turns. You were primarily responsible for getting me to go to ETU last year and I am very grateful. Please let me kow if you ever make it up to Maine.

I turned 54 last week Oboe. I'd wish you a happy one but if you feel like me anymore, I'm just glad to be around.

The alternative to birthdays isn't good. We must have birthdays I suppose.

I'm 72, oboe, and I don't know if there is someone older on the board. When I wa 40 the hill was full of skiers my age but now there are just a handfull of my age left, the others have moved to Florida.

Good on ya, Ott! The guys in their seventies with whom I ski are much better skiers than am I (although that's not necessarily saying much). I do realize they've had that much more experience, and by the time I'm seventy, I'll be much improved.

So . . . who's the Bear older than Ott?
