It's ok. Depends on the unit really.. it's an older building, but sometimes those can be really nice if the owner has remodeled them. In fact, it probably has been remodeled, just maybe not in this decade. If you got it directly through Copper/Intrawest then it has to meet certain standards and probably is nice. If you rented through another company then.. well.. who knows what condition it will be in. (Most property management companies do a good job, but in my opinion there is a slightly lower standard.) I don't think there's a hottub in that place (it's actually 4 loosely connected buildings), I may be wrong though. There definitely isn't a pool. There is underground parking, laundry, etc. Most units are two stories with bedrooms upstairs. Stumbling distance to bars and restaurants.
As far as ski in goes, it's going to be tough. Basically you have to drop below Bouncer or Andy's Encore onto some trail that exits near the bottom of American Eagle. From there, hit a flat road that connects over to the building. So you could ski in off Superbee or Eagle. As far as ski out goes, you can only ski out to American Eagle then catch Bouncer, Main Vein, or Bittersweet over to Superbee. Or, just go up Excelerator from the top of Eagle.
All in all, decent location. If you were looking for closer proximity with about the same kind of units you could inquire about Spruce Lodge or Copper Junction.
