Ive been on Rex for two seasons now and absolutley love them. Now I want some to truly fat skiis. My main ski area is Mammoth and Kirkwood. I weigh 215. I ski fast and hard. I have heard that the Gotama has been stiffened up this year in response to complaints that it was too soft last year. I've also heard that the Sugar Daddy has gotten softer with the removal of the binding plate. I love junk snow for the challenge. I'm a little concerned about the weight of the ski because of the amount of traversing and hiking I do to get to my favorite parts of the mountains. I'll be using my old Rossi FKS bindings without plates. I've modified them so that the brakes work with the width of the skiis. Has anybody had a chance to try these two skiis?
