Ultimate cross training?

I stumbled across an awesome (well, in my mind) cross-training for skiing workout this past week: Indoor rock climbing. One footed balance while doing squats while contorting yourself into various positions to reach the next hold. I imagine the core gets a pretty good workout along with your legs and arms. Plus it gives you lots of practice with falling, which is a regular part of what I do on the slopes as well.

Just wondering if any of the other Bears do this with any regularity.

It is awesome as long as you use your legs and not over-rely on your upper body...

best overall x-training: technical mtb trail riding, including long climbs and fast, difficult descents.

2d best: inline skating

3d best: whatever floats your boat.
