You are talking apples & oranges
Atomicman, I am considering buying an SX type ski...the 11m or 10. Also considering the Metron M10. I am an expert skier who skied only racing skis of 1 flavor or another (ex teach and coach) until shaped skis but now only like to ski fast. Also, ski a couple of weeks out west.
Any thoughts (like school, compare/contrast) on the SX11 or 10 vs the Metron M10. I have not been able to talk to anyone who has skied them both to give me the pluses and minuses of each.
This is my first foray into Atomic world in over 20+ years.
I have not skied the M10 but thought the M11 was too soft. So I would guess the M10 is even softer.
The SX11m Supercross is the closest thing to a race ski in the bunch. Narrowest waist and profile in the group& it is more of a Fast GS ski.
You really should demo, demo demo! I know you are probably chomping at the bit to buy something, but I realy think you should try 'em first & see what you like!
