Park City

There is a group of about 10 of us heading to Utah in late February. The majority of the group wishes to stay at Park City so I am not going to fight them. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place to stay? Typically we like to rent a condo or a house. Thanks!

Does any of the 10 have a timeshare to exchange? There's tons of that type of accommodation.

Nope, no time share exchanges are available. Thanks for the idea though.

Here's a link to a google search of "Park City Vacation Rentals". There seems to be an endless supply of rental options. Good luck.

Are you looking for ski in ski out or walk to skiing? do you plan to ski Park City Mountain Resort , Deer Valley or The Canyons? Or all three Park City areas? Are you looking for affordable or is your group willing to pay Deer Valley prices? The prospector area of Park city has some nightly rental homes they would be less then something in Old town but you would have to take a car or the free bus to go skiing or for a night in Old Town. 10 is a pretty large group you might do better with two condos that are close together.

I 2nd the advice to check out the owner rentals at www.vrbo.com - another site i recently found is www.redweek.com - it is a site where people "rent" out their timeshare weeks.

Look for deals on www.parkcityinfo.com (the local chamber of commerce site) - click the hot deal link. There is crazy number like 22,000 "pillows" in the Park City area so I'm sure you will find something that will work for your group.

My wife and I have been here 24 years. Park City is a great base for a big group, there is so much to do both on the 3 local hills and in town. If ten come out, the money you will put in shuttles will rent a car/SUV so compare that. PC has free shuttles in town from 7 AM until 1 AM so easy to shuttle or walk, depending on where you stay.

My wife and I own condos in PC but can't solicit. We also have a friend who has houses next to PCMR. Any info you need on skiing, the town, events, feel free to ask. IF you are interested in a road trip out of PC to...say, Snowbasin or Sundance, we are familiar with those as well.

Cheers, (and have fun in PC!)
