Two pair of skis is always better than one and three is even better yet.
Those same skis that were great on ice and turned like a weasel in a drainpipe will leave you wanting on powder days.
If you can hook up with two good "closeouts" for the price of one 2002 model or close to it why not....... If you are going to ski a lot this is probably a good move, if you don't, then it's a waste of $$$$$.
Whatever you buy, don't fall for that ski of your dreams at a cut rate price in a 193cm...
of something that is too darn long. There are many deals on the long stuff now..... for a reason...... they couldn't sell them!
You should probably be on something 170ish.
My eastern quiver.... 188 Volkl P-40, good for GS crusing and big enough for powder but a bit on the stiff side.......170 P-40 SL, for fun stuff..........185 Rossi 9X, for skis that I keep in my truck/rock skis.
I would like to get a pair of short/fats like Volant Machetes or a pair of P-50's with the rails...... WARNING WARNING OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE ADDICT ALERT!!!!!!!!!<FONT size="1">
