Bummer! Snow Forecast Released.

Man...sorry guys!

"From NOAA website:" Positive sea surface temperature anomalies have increased and expanded during the month of September, which indicate the early stages of a warm episode in the northern Atlantic. This anomalous warmth has resulted in a pattern of deep convection. The NOAA operational definition of La Pinta has been satisfied for the August-September 2004 period. At this time, it seems likely that cumulative seasonal snowfalls will be significantly reduced throughout the Mid-Atlantic seaboard areas this winter and early spring. Additional impact will also likely be felt in the form of reduced snowpack accumulation throughout the mountains of California, Oregon and Nevada as La Pinta conditions interact with a weak El Nino in the northern Pacific ocean. Increased snowfall accumulations are likely for Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas as drooping jet streams will tend to carry moisture south of typical track."
