Got a call from my Son who told me of the snow. All the locals are predicting a very early fall and a very early ski season start.

He and his park rat budds have their twinn tips ready to go hiking in search of a few turns.

Me, I've got a flight booked into Steamboat in early October to hike Rabbit Ears, visit the National Park to view the changing Aspens, and pick up my ski passes over in somewhat County.

Maybe I should bring my skis and hike some at Loveland Pass instead.
