Heres a link:

to an article about Ranch Camp at Stowe. In the mid 60's when I was a student in Stowe I stayed there a number of times. The place had long been closed but we were allowed to use a couple of the cabins. These were a couple miles up an unplowed road from Stowe Forks. One in particular I recall was a rustic building with a high ceilinged space with two huge double barrel stoves. Rooms and lofts opened off this. In the evening this made for a convivial space as people sat around the room, their feet hanging off the edge of the lofts. Evenings were magical, skiing up to the cabins in the moonlight.

I wonder if theres anyone else out there with memories of this place?
