Philly area get together? - Page 2

Let's split the diff....how about 5:30? Still at the General Lafayette Inn? On Germantown Pike? On Black Friday?
I'll be heading there from my office in South Jersey and it looks like about 54 miles one way so I'll allow a little more than an hour.
Sure, bring the Kryptons too..

I'm available all day, so I'm good with 5:30.

William, the best way to get to the Gen. Lafayette Inn is take Germantown Pike east off I-476. Unfortunately, if you're heading south on I-476 (from the PA TP) that gets slightly complicated, there is no GT Pike East exit in that direction, only west, so you go west and use a jughandle (about 500 yds off the exit). It's marked as I recall, but confusing if you've never been through there.

Unfortunatly, I will still be Krypton-less. They are still not releasing them. Grrrr.

See you Friday, I will be in a Mad River Glen vest.

MRG Vest, I don't have anything as distinctive as that. I'll be in jeans and a blue and brown jacket. Will probably have stopped in a few stores in Ply Mtg, and be ready for a drink by then. Looking forward to it.

Well, we met, we drank, we lied. :0 The three of us hung around talked about technique, equipement and where to ski. I had a great time, myself, and I hope Elk and Bill did too. I hope I didn't bore you two too much.

I had a great time, Phil is da man! And I think my buddy Elk would agree....
Nice meeting you all and I'm sure we'll meet up again soon. Thanks for all the advice Phil, it should come in handy this season.
Let's get some more Philly Bears next time!

Phil: I didn't see this thread until Saturday, or I would've been there. Want to do it again before the season opens? Haven't been to Gen Lafayette lately. Do you know McMenamins? I plan to be at Blue on opening day, for a warmup for the ETU. Evan.

I had a great time also! Maybe we can do again ... at a slope-side bar after a day on the hill.
