We'll definitely have to hook up. Are you saying that Edelweiss is actually walking distance to the slopes? Very cool!!!!
Actually Edelweiss is about 200 from the lifts at Park City Mountain Resort - walking distance to most!

I'll be there in December. Have fun.

i could only go for the weekend, but strangley enough; in the ski club i'm a member of(Space City in Houston); we had a very nice lady come ski with us last year that lives in that area. still not sure why she went with us, as she didnt know 1 person going and is an intermediate; but i could get mention to her that someone from her neighborhood is looking to fill a trip, although i think she's going to go with us again(i guess we grew on her like some sort of fungus).

Sorry Utah.... Blue Crab are out of season then, but the oysters aren't. They're just a bit perishable to try and travel on comercial air with. You'll just have to come on out here to The Bay sometime and chow down. MMgood!!!!

I lived in Just outside of baltimore as a kid right on the Magithy River ( not sure I spelled that right.) my brother and me would be sent down to the dock with a chicken neck on a string to fish for crabs. It didn't take long to get a couple of doz. I can still smell them being steamed in beer with bay leaf. I have great memories of sailing on my grandfather's gaff rigged katch on the bay. i'll get back there someday. I would love to spend a couple of weeks in the fall sailing on the Bay.

It would take you about 2-3 pot-tides to get that many 4" males nowadays.

Getting worried now

Hi guys.... Help me out. I haven't sold but a couple more spaces on the trip and my drop dead date is near. If I drag out the trip past Oct. 5 the loss to the club if we cancel is too much to bear (we take an ouch hit by canceling at all). I wish I could take fewer people and make it a go, but we all know it takes the magic #25 to make a group and keep the price structure intact. If I don't get a surge in the next couple of weeks, the trip unfortunately will die.

Take a look at the package and tell me why you would or wouldn't sign up for a trip like this. I'm looking for general comments, act like you live in the area and could potentially go. This trip usually sells no problem in clubs. The only thing I can think of is timing (too early?).

For most of the local folks I've sent your link to, it seems too good to be true.

The rest are Alta or Whitewater addicts and sniff at PCMR.

Will you bring details to the swap next weekend?

Which swap???

Hey Bolide.... which swap next weekend? What can I do to make everyone believe this is 100% on the up and up?

Crabtowne Skiers is a not for profit Annapolis based ski club that has been in existance for over 30 years. Right now we are having webmaster issues so our site is not in the best shape. Please however take a look www.crabtowne-skiers.org .

The reason the deal is so good is because we had several group trip vendors send bids in order to find the best deal. The vendor we are using for the trip is one of the oldest in the area, and we have done business with them for many years.

In addition you can go to the Blue Ridge Ski Council (BRSC) website www.skicouncil.com and find our link their. We are a member group and the PCMR trip is sanctioned, meaning that any member of a BRSC club can sign on to the trip for the member rate.

Please don't hesitate to email me personally if you have questions.... I'd hate to see this wonderful trip fall through. Thanks for the feedback too....

Sorry.... I won't be able to make it. Crabtowne will be at the Ski Haus swap in Annapolis in mid- Oct. but that will be too late (maybe) to save the trip.

PS... do stop by the Liberty/Rountop/Whitetail table and say hello to my friends.

Give them a flyer or two of the trip, then.

Because they will be at the swap professionally representing the Snowtime resorts, I can't have them hocking a particular clubs trip or other resorts. It would be a conflict of interest for them to have my trip flyers. It's just as much a conflict for me to sell the trip while I'm on duty for the resorts.

When I represent Snowtime Inc. I'm solely working for them. When I'm selling Crabtowne I do so on my own time.

The weblink I put up has more info than the actual flyer does anyway. The flyer is just a quick grab item so they have my contact and can call me about it if they're inerested.

If you would like my flyer I'd be happy to email it to you in word format. Email me with an address that can accept attatchments.

Pro Fit has two swaps every year. The Sept. swap is run by the shop and the Oct. swap is run by the patrol.

I'll be there for both.:

Trip Update!!!

We are still going to Utah!!!! Here's the current count...

10 spots available : 1 for solo guy
1 for solo girl
2 guarenteed twin beds
3 master bedrooms for couples or really good friends
Remeber: There's always the sleep sofa in the living room for some flexibility.

These spaces are moving.... if you have any interest contact me soon.

If the whole group is willing to do it we will also be skiing Dear Valley in place of 1 day at PCMR for $25 more. I will not be able to do it for individuals as this is a group rate thing.

I have a few spaces available as land only packages. Contact me for price.
ESB, Try hard to covince your group to do a day at Deer Valley. It is well worth the extra $25. Your best bet is to do it on a Sunday. Sunday morning can be vary uncrowded at Deer Valley. The best place to eat there is at the Empire Canyon Lodge, same food as other lodges just less crowded.

Thanks Utah... I will definitely try. Seeing as we'll be there the "dead" week I don't think we'll have a problem with crowds anywhere. We'll be skiing Sun. - Fri. in between the holidays.

I'm at 19 people now and I've dropped some units. I'm looking for 1 more, then I will continue to fill based on 4 more people at a time.

Come on gang..... anyone want to fill another a condo? Please!!
