Not to draw anyone away from here, but Peter has posted the Atomic reviews. I know he has links to this site so I hope this is OK. You need to be a member to view though. www.realskiers.com

I'm very interested to see the Atomic reviews, but won't be dropping $29 to "join" a web forum. Any members care to post the text?

don't pay the $29, then. it's that simple.

No can do. That would violate this forum's rules regarding copyrighted materials.

One Atomic ski was called, "phenomenally versatile"; while another was "A truly great powder ski."

1) It's not a forum, although a forum is also thrown in. It's essentially a ski review service that is among the most comprehensive and least biased in the business.

2) The owner was operating his service on his own nickel for years, but the expenses finally got too much for him to cover, so he finally had to ask for subscriptions a year or two ago.

3) You can get partial reviews/data on the non-subscription part of the site.

4) The guy running it happens to be a nice guy, but even if he weren't, there's no way in h-ll that I would re-post data that anyone worked their you-know-what off to obtain. Put youself in his shoes. Would you like someone to do the same to you?

Gonz nailed it:

For the price of a tofu burger and some holistic beer one gets invaluable reviews on this season's skis as well as skis from years past....plus other related services as well. Peter actually takes the time to answer your questions. Access to the site is worth triple the price. Don't get any ideas, Peter!

It's $29 if you want one-on-one support from Peter. If you just want the ski reviews and assorted articles, it's $19 per year.

PS - Dynastar, Volkl and K2 reviews have also been posted.

I've used his one-on-one support before. He is very helpful. Ended up saving me more cash that the $29 sign-up fee.....

I too have used the one on one support and Peter was great...well worth the fee

But they took out the original Mod X/Axis X model. They don't have anything between 68mm and 78mm.

The new K2 reviews are up on REALSKIERS.COM!

The subscription fee is well worth it , especially if you compare it to the Ski Magazine Buyers Guides that most skiers buy from SKI, SKIING, Powder, Freeze, etc.
The personal consulting is a great help when you need input from someone regarding a potential new purchase.

you always could go to FakeSkiers and read what the maroons have to say, for free.

Salomon reviews just got posted. Much to the dismay of some bears the Pocket Rockets once again get a great review.
