I'm a little out of it what exactly is this about?
Mindless? I beg your pardon. Any real skier knows that blue skis are vastly superior to other colored skis.
Personally, I perfer my black with gold stars on the back and white stars on the front, but blue would be one of my next choices.

Good one, LM. When I'm really working on completing my carved turns, though, I prefer my grey Dynastars. You know....

"Grey skis are gonna steer up..."

Well, we seem to be falling behind even further here!

At the start of the thread they had 48,539 posts and we had 47,092, a deficit of 1,447 posts.

Now they have 49,127 posts and we have 47,467, an even larger deficit of 1,660 posts.

That's OK though! Being a good republican I can devise a new way to count to come out the winner!

They have 49,127 responses to 3,602 threads, for an average of 13.64 posts per thread.

We have 47,467 responses to 2,343 threads for an average of 20.26 posts per thread.

THERE, NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT. I KNEW WE'D WIN !!!

Lostboy, I'd just like to defeat your argument with one comment (kinda surprised Altaskier hasn't got in already).
So, here is my proof that at least one type of blue ski is INFERIOR to any other ski:

Pocket Rockets

WTFH:You know the old saying, "The exception proves the rule".

Roto: I must confess that I have yet to own a pair of blue skis though I aspire to one day. When Fischer makes blue skis available in the USA I will snap a pair up and eliminate those occasionaly nagging doubts that I may not have the best skis.

Actually, a few season's back Fischer made Sceneo 500's in blue available in Canada and Japan but they imported only grey Sceneo 500's to the USA. Which raises the rather disturbing question of why the USA is getting less than the very best equipment.

Moreover, I heard somewhere (so it must be true) that Atomic, Elan and Volkl also reserved all their blue skis for the euro market. It is well known in top skiing circles that most racers on the World Cup really ski on blue skis that are just taped over with red, yellow, green etc., silkscreened tops.

Finally, as to the "mindless dribble" vs "brain required" count methodology, some might argue rather persuasively that many of the posts in the "get off those edges" and "the gap" threads as well as some memorable others can not be fairly added to Rick's "brain required" tally. Of course, it is alleged that they count things somewhat differently in Florida...

Wow, after reading this thread I just realized my ski quiver for next season is mainly blue. Most of my ski clothes are blue & gray so I need to ditch my red Nordica Beast boots because they'll really stick out.

Jeez Bonni, settle down girl, it was just humor for jeepers sake, and you've been raggin for 7 straight days now. Get a bottle of wine and find a good lookin guy to take home for a few hours, maybe it will settle you down some.

Orrrrrr,,,,, if that's not the problem,,,,, then you might want to consider not posting during this period of the month. At least, if you can't contain your rage, pick a different target because your mission in regards to me has already been accomplished.

Rick -

While this forum might eventually catch the trivial forum in total posts I doubt it will ever have a thread with as many posts as the legendary 'Barking Leprechauns' thread.....a true classic in the annals of this forum.
