By WTFH: "Lostboy, I'd just like to defeat your argument with one comment (kinda surprised Altaskier hasn't got in already).
So, here is my proof that at least one type of blue ski is INFERIOR to any other ski:
WTFH:You know the old saying, "The exception proves the rule".
Roto: I must confess that I have yet to own a pair of blue skis though I aspire to one day. When Fischer makes blue skis available in the USA I will snap a pair up and eliminate those occasionaly nagging doubts that I may not have the best skis.
Actually, a few season's back Fischer made Sceneo 500's in blue available in Canada and Japan but they imported only grey Sceneo 500's to the USA. Which raises the rather disturbing question of why the USA is getting less than the very best equipment.
Moreover, I heard somewhere (so it must be true) that Atomic, Elan and Volkl also reserved all their blue skis for the euro market. It is well known in top skiing circles that most racers on the World Cup really ski on blue skis that are just taped over with red, yellow, green etc., silkscreened tops.
Finally, as to the "mindless dribble" vs "brain required" count methodology, some might argue rather persuasively that many of the posts in the "get off those edges" and "the gap" threads as well as some memorable others can not be fairly added to Rick's "brain required" tally. Of course, it is alleged that they count things somewhat differently in Florida...
