Does anyone know how well the Nordica Beast 8 TT performs on ice, powder, and in the park? Any info would be appreciated, even on other Beast models. Thanks.

I have the 92TT, called the 12TT last year and perhaps this year. (It's the uber-fat red one.)

It's my favorite ski ever, but they are very easy to damage. Mine delaminated under the binding after about 30 days. Plus they get edge compressions from skiing over Kleenex.

This is too bad, because it skis like nothing else. Amazingly quick and easy to turn considering its size and weight, but stable at high speeds. Imagine a wood-core Pocket Rocket, the dimensions are almost the same.

It's fairly soft, so probably not the hot tip if you weigh 200+. Lighter guys seem to like them.

Summary: Great ski, durability sucks.
