park city vs. the canyons

wondering which will have better snow coverage mid-december trip. deciding which resort to stay at...we are extremely blue skiers (like that)...no steep stuff(i'm a wuss with bad knees) unless it is groomed) wanted....

on another note...if neither place has good snow at that time, do you think we would enjoy alta or snowbird??? thanks for your input and recommendations

In my December experience, Park City has tended to have more coverage than the Canyons - the exposure? - but if you're staying in town, check the RSN morning TV show from PC that gives reports on coverage, number of trails open, etc. Basically, I think they're pretty comparable. By the way, Deer Valley does a good job with the snow they get.
If steeps aren't really what you're after, you'd do better to ski at any of the Park City hills, all of which have plenty of lower angle cruising.
