This storm has already changed forecasts for the Cottonwood Canyons. Watch it carefully and go to the resort with the most snow. With that said, the Cottonwoods are expecting 1-2 feet last I checked on the web, but who knows how much of that will actully hit us. You can never go wrong with any of the Cottonwood Canyon resorts (Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, or Solitude), but also the Park City areas will see some nice snow as well. Where are you staying? Keep this in mind, because Snowbasin and Powder Mountain (outside of Ogden) may get more of the snow from this storm if it keeps to the north.
Last I checked, looked like the storm should tapper off by noon an Saturday and then clear up. Also, if you are going up into the Cottonwoods, might want to rent 4wheel drive, or you might be hitching for a ride at the mouths of the canyons!
There is no such thing as too much snow for skiing!
Enjoy your trip!
