Almost impossible to predict. This season Whistler set records for early snowfall, i believe. I'd probably opt for that route if i had to book now, but...always hard to say what's gonna actually happen. Considering it's a roll of the dice either way, I'd feel like it's not the worst thing to do, taking a chance on PNW snowfall.
Early/Mid December was kind to Whistler/Blackcomb, I had quite a few Pow days, 2nd week was unbelievable, then it kind of slowed up into the holidays, but base was getting good & firm. If you check whistlerblackcomb.com they might have the snow history still up & running. Anyway, Ryann's on the $, impossible to predict. If I were a betting man, personally I go PNW, but then again, it can be warm then cold & REAL WET for weeks on end, and sweet in the Rockies.
