No Way! I was just on their site this morning. Looks like they changed their mind (earlier they said they needed more snow).

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I'm going to have to think about this one. Maybe I'll have to take next Wednesday off or something.

We should clarify that we are speaking of Crystal Mountain in Washington. I believe there is one back east also.

if they do open, which I am very doubtful too, make sure to bring your rock boards.
Stevens Pass is saying if the weather patterns occur as they are suppouse to they will open on the 28th.

Lucky, I hope you are right.

Hard to believe after the wash-out last week. Keeping my fingers crossed, but will still probably wait for a bit more snow - don't have a pair of skis that I want to trash right now. Think snow!

Can't stand the pain of watching the Huskies anymore.
Crystal does open Sunday. Limited operations, Green Valley chair and maybe Deer Fly or Bull Run. $ 15.00 Here's where I turn a fairly new pair of X-Screams into rock skis. I am truly addicted.

Hi, my name is Michael and I am a Ski-aholic

Sugar S: At the time of that photo Lucky was in the Elk enjoying a cold one. It was great to be on skis again even if it was limited to two chairs (Chinook and Forest Queen). Only took one rock shot that was easily fixed. The cover was better than I thought it would be especially on downhill and rolling knolls. Lots of people for such short notice. Snowing hard when we left.

Oooh LOVE the Elk!!! They have the best sammies. The fire is a nice touch too.

Sigh - I'm dying to go too but I'm going to take it easy. I'm coming off of a knee strain from the summer. Think I'll wait for more snow and more runs so I can get some distance between me and the yahoos. Trying hard to wait.......

Say - who's running the demo shop up there now?

SS what's with this strained knee stuff. You won't know until you test it. I might be up there thurs.

Ah Lucky - I'm just hedging my bets so to speak. I want to ski really bad and I'm doing everything to ensure that I can ski this season and many seasons to come.

All in good time....all in good time. I'll be there soon enough.

Considering that we now have snow in the city and the passes are getting blasted I may just have to hit the slopes early next week.
