snow-forecast.com anyone a member?

Just curious if anyone is a paying member of this site and if so is it worth it?

Well, I guess I'm the only one? I've been paying for the past few years. I ususlly just do two 2 month shots to cover Dec-March. I've found that their forecasts have usually been very good, and often better than weather.com (which is pretty crappy IMO).

I like the fact that they're truly resort specific, and give temps and snow forecasts for various elevations on the mountain. It also seems that they've gotten better over the past year with more up-to-date forecasts then they've had in the past.

I'm not sure, but I believe that the only thing you gain by paying, is the extended forecast. The 1-3 day forecast is still free. So paying for it depends on how often you need to plan trips that far in advance.

This is the best forecast site on the web. I am not a member but I do use the 3 day forecasts.

Guy, there are so many good weather sites, why pay for one. The very best are NOAA.com and intellicast.com. Both will give you a detailed ten day long range forecast and discuss the probabilities of snow or precip. Use your money for ski equipment or passes.

I join for a month or two each year, and I have been very impressed with their forecasts at multiple elevations for the bigger mountains.

e.g. Daughter and I are heading to Mt Baker tomorrow and then Whistler for the coming week and it's very useful to see the 3 separate elevation level forecasts for Whistler. Much more useful for these two mountains than is the weather.com data.
