i know- we have our sister svchool there, in samnaun.
i 'dsicovered' the region after a miserable fall in a worldcup race, there.
i hung around, and eventually brokered a deal for several hundred of samnaun's rentals to be sold to the pres. of our company in bohemia, which led, eventually, to the formation of our 'private schneeschule in samnaun.
i am addicted to the 'gruss gott' lifestyle of ischgl's village, and the view, after the tram passes over the little spruce-covered ridge which is all you see form the base, of the actual valley and peaks, is breathtaking every time i ride that tram.
burton did a lot of product testing there, so it's an extremely snowboard friendly mountain, where the staff aopplauds 80 mph runs on DH snowboards, and ladies insist on buying you some gluwein, afterward.
mein gott, ich liebe ischgl/samnaun!!!
