was up there yesterday, left Troy in the pouring rain on a mission to make turns in october, started getting a little nervous when we were 20 minutes from the mountain and it was still pouring and had not seen any signs of snow. In almost a Disneyesque moment, it went from no snow on the ground to at least 7 inches of real natural snow!! Got to Killington around 1:30 and it looked great. And the skiing was FANTASTIC!!! Far from the skiing that I had envisioned, I skied until closing at 4 and there were no bare spots to speak of, despite the fact that it rained most of the day. Conditions could best be described as packed powder up top, with spring slush on the bottom. Killington will probably fire up the guns and resurface what already was a great base, and with cold weather for the next couple of weeks it looks like winter has FINALLY arrived!!!!!!!!!
