"The gate is scheduled to open this weekend for Tioga Pass. Having just been up there I know that the road is plowed past the Eastern Yosemite Park entrance.
Ellery Bowl is in good shape (except for tracks already there ), as are most SE to SW slopes. Most ridges are blown thin to dry, and S slopes are thin. Beware underlying rocks on all aspects since the overall snowpack is below normal. However, if you go soon, you should get lots of good corn and classic Sierra (sunny) conditions.
To double check the road being open, call 800-427-ROAD."
