Conditions In Park City This Weekend

Thread Starter
Heading to Park City Friday and wondering how things are looking at PCMR, Deer Valley and the Canyons (no car, so we won't be heading over to Alta/Bird. ) On the upside, it looks like there might be another storm blowing through before the weekend, which would be sweet. Think powder!

And TR@DV, I sent you a PM.

I can't speak to PCMR and The Canyons, but DV was awful nice this past weekend - especially with the half foot or so of fresh that fell yesterday. It still needs another good storm to really sweeten things up, I made a couple laps on Ontario and there still is a bunch of scrub sticking out...
I just checked the mountain weather forecast and they're now predicting 6-12 for tomorrow!!
(fingers crossed and doing snow dance)

Screamin' powder day at Alta today. More crowded than normal for New Years; Coverage at PC should be good.;Pow is up to the gods, but the storm track looks good.

sphrrt, I must have just missed you. I hit Ontario Bowl on Monday...pretty tracked out and lots of shrubs still. The trees by Empire were awesome, though. Dumped 12+ inches on Tuesday (New Year's Eve) with more coming, so this next weekend should be really nice.

You did (miss me), I was pushing the proverbial pencil on Monday, but I did get up yesterday and made some even better tracks through Ontario - one more good dump should cover up most of the shrubs, still it was pretty darn nice with a foot or so of fresh!
I'm going to accompany my gal out to The Canyons on Saturday, she's signed up for a women's tele clinic and I'm tagging along since they've got a tele demo day. We'll most likely be heading back to DV on Sunday though.
Geez, life is rough!

Gee I must have missed everyone. We had guest in town and they only like to ski Deer Valley so I was there Tues,Thrusday, and Friday (yesterday) Wensday New years day I skied Park City. Tues Afternoon was great I spent most of the Afternoon in and around Perseverance Bowl. Wow what an Afternoon Hardly a any tracks on that part of the Mountain. I was doing Laps off the Sultan Chair. I even ran into some knee deep pow on Grzzly and Peerless. for The most part it was boot high Pow and skiing "gates" around the Vegetation. It was hard to get into that part of the mountain most of it was roped off but there was one small gate open. It was hard to find I guess that is what kept most people out. The snow has helped out But we need a good 2 foot dump to really get things going.
