Thanks to everybody who helped me with binding advice.
It was much appreciated. I am know the proud owner of a pair of AxisX with Marker 1200 Free's. Now i just have to decide wether to use them at Glenshee this week. (if you know the place you'd understand why.)

However...
...if you had all just told me that the bindings came complete with a picture of semi-naked bird in a bikini on them, we could have all saved a lot of time.

Cheers
Mark

I happened to be (not skiing) at the Aviemore ski area (the one with the funicular railway) one week ago and the conditions were VERY BAD. Patches of snow and a lot of stones. I would expect Glenshee to be very similar.

Mirek,
Apparently there are fourteen lifts open at Glenshee at the moment, and they've been able to fill in some of the lower runs with artificial snow. They have also opened up the Coire Flonn Poma's over the top, and the runs are full width between the fences, although you have to hike a wee bit to get there.
So things aren't looking too bad. Although very icy.
The forecast is for low temps and blue skies untill the weekend. So fingers crossed.
