We were going to Vail but the housing prices were pretty ridiculous. So, now we're thinking of going to either Telluride or Crested Butte. We going in the beginning of March for 4 days/5 nights. We have a group of 10 adults (ranging from intermediate/level 3-4 to mid-advanced/level 8-9.) and 4-5 small children (only 1 is old enough to ski.) We will have a few adults who will not be skiing so non-skiing activities are important. Any thoughts on which mountain and which town would be better suited for us? Are we going to go through sticker shock at Telluride as well? Any crowds at either resort? I assume all terrain will be open at both resorts that time of year if snowfall has been relatively close to normal (obviously no guarantees here). Thanks for the info.
