My NH "SKI.PDR" vanity plate says "Live Free or Die". 'Nuff said.

quote:
Groomers in glades seems incongruous, but Sutton has ancient Tucker SnoCats that are used to groom some of the glades there. Okemo actually has snow making in a couple of the glades, Outrage and I thnk double diamond. Anything is possible.

Snowmaking and groomers on a glade trail? At Okemo, I'd believe it. How could any trail at Okemo be called "Double Diamond"? Makes as much sense as Killington having trails called "East Glade" and "West Glade" that haven't had trees on them in 20 years. Well, East Glade has 1 tree left... As a kid as a Stratton brat, there used to be a trail called The Glades. It morphed into Slalom Glade and was the most treeless thing on the mountain.
