Last Minute Deals

Can anyone recommend any place to book a last minute trip for this week to CO or Utah from Boston?

I was just wondering since the Eastern conditions are crap it might be fun to go out West for a few days.

Here's a decent one a friend recommended to me. A google search under "ski vacations" offers many more. It's just a matter of hunting. Good luck.

We here in CO seem to have been shortchanged by the recent storm- Utah (at least Alta/ Snowbird) seem to have gotten a lot more snow. I skied A-Basin yesterday, and while the skiing was great, the terain was limited (not to mention it was COLD!). You may want to look more to Utah than here for best skiing this weekend.

I'll second the Utah mention - Alta's YTD snowfall has already surpassed some CO area's average +annual+ snowfall.

I do like Utah better than Colorado, but when both places are having a "normal" snow year, you can't go wrong with each. Different, but both are good.

This year? Utah is having a way-better than "normal" year; if you're getting on a plane this weekend, go to Utah!

Iain (I *almost* drove out there Christmas Day to ski Friday - glad I did not, in a sense, LCC was closed and Alta did not open. I'm trying not to think about just how epic Alta would have been on Saturday.....)

So I won't tell you how good Solitude was on Friday either...
