I'm going to Jackson Hole during the last week of March with my two kids. We're staying at the Jackson Hole Racquet Club. I've gotten very good information about the resort on this site and I thank the contributors. Where is a good place to rent skis and snow boards? Thanks again.
I agree with Julie. If you're staying in the Racquet Club, your best bet is to rent at Teton Village - that way if you have any boot fit issues or want to change ski models or lengths, you just run into the shop right there at the ski area.
Their are four or five shops that rent gear at the Village - The Bridger Center is right next to the loading stations for the gondola and the Teewinot high-speed quad. Their shop rents all kinds of skis and has snowboards as well.
Teton Village Sports, Wildernest Sports, and Jack Dennis Sports are all located in buildings on one side or the other from the aerial tram building, and all of them rent skis but I'm not so sure about boards. Pepi Stiegler Sports (my personal favorite), is just across the little scating rink from the tram building and they also rent skis and boards.
Have fun while you're here. PM me and maybe we can meet for a run or a beer.
