Trying to make a last minute ski trip 11/28 - 12/5. Expecting to be in Cottonwood Canyons area - staying at Best Western in Sandy.
Forecast looks good. However, before I finalize flight schedule tomorrow, any feedback Summit/Eagle County, Co resorts probably staying in Frisco.

We are primarily intermediate level skiers:
son, age 6: level 4
daughter, age 7: level 6
wife: level 5
me: level 6/7

No snow in Iowa, but without a mountain...gravity does not help much.

Hope to see you all at the 2004 Academy/Gathering.

i would think you'd be happy with breck and keystone if youre intermediates. i wouldnt make the drive to vail unless youre good on blacks and dont mind doing some polling. vail's lift are not as family friendly and well planned out as keystone and breck.

i've gone right before peak to breck and can get good deals in breck. frisco didnt have too much to choose from in hotels in the new, clean, economy range.
try the sites - www.breckenridge.com or look up condo's in breckenridge or keystone. i would think you could find something close to the mountain at a comparable price before peak season.

While I don't want to discourage any Colorado skiing.......have you seen the storm totals in the Wasatch?

Thanks. We did book SLC today. We were looking at doing a Steamboat or Aspen trip around Christmas, but schedules didn't work out.

Looks like we may get lucky with some good early season conditions. We leave Des Moines early 11/28 and may get to Brighton for their afternoon/evening session.

For combination of price, accessibility and conditions is hard to beat.

We will be staying at the Best Western in Sandy and probably skiing LCC/BCC if anyone is interested.
