How is Heavenly?
Long, wide cruisers and excellent tree skiing. Some expert terrain, but not enough steeps to satisfy the steep skier. Gets less snow than Kirkwood, Alpine, or Sugar Bowl, since it's east of the Pacific Crest. When the snow is good, Heavenly is great. The view is one of the best in North America. The on-mountain lodges are small and old, and the California side can get crowded.
If you like cruisers, or if you like cutting up powder between the trees, you'll enjoy Heavenly. If you get bored or want some more challenge, try Kirkwood.
