We're going to Utah for 5 days in mid-February and I need some advice. We are a large group (13 people including 7 kids) and are considering The Canyons or Solitude, or returning to the Snowflower Condos at Park City where we stayed last year. Ski in/ski out accomodations are very important to us (I'm too old to carry my kids' skis anymore and they aren't old enough yet to do it). We want good skiing and don't want to go broke. Night life isn't a consideration --- we cook in the condo every night and are so tired at the end of each day we can't even consider going out! Has anyone been to the new village at Solitude; is the resort okay for 5 nights? How is the ski school there for kids? I have the same questions about The Canyons. Unfortunately, Deer Valley is out due to cost and there is nothing available at Snowbird/Alta for a group like ours. Utah is a great place for us because it's so easy to get to from the east coast and the snow is usually very good. Thanks in advance for your help.
