How to ensure correct binding mounting?

So I am going to take my new Head IC160 163cm ski's and tyrolia SL100abs carve bindings to get them installed and waxed today. (boot size - 27) The local shop that is a Head dealer takes over a week to do them, but another reputable shop, that is not a head dealer can do them in 1 day.

I was going to take it to the place that does them in 1 day. The ski's do not have any markings on them as to exactly where the bindings should be installed (i.e. center mark etc). So just to be on the safe side how can I determine that the binding is mounted correctly, and not up or down slightly?

Is there any general rule of thumb, or it depends on the particular ski and binding?

Center mark varies with the ski. Old rule was mid cord minus 15mm. Other is toe at mid cord. Contact HEAD and see what they recommend.
