Why do they always open that damn run Parkway first? That run is an accident waiting to happen!

I didn't realize Steamboat had changed their name to Winter Park. 24" base mid mountain and only 3 trails open?

My Son says that the mountain has been getting snow pretty regular, and they have been making snow too. He and some friends have been doing some hiking up for some runs, getting in shape for the Freeride season. He went to Copper this weekend though. The Boat will be open soon. It will be good this year just like every other year. Not to worry.

I spoke with a local last Wednesday and there's 30" at the gondola. There's been crappy weather in the valley and town with rain and sleet. Rain and sleet in the valley = snow on the mountain.

...I'm still waiting for their first big powder day. As soon as it hits I'm there.
