Just got back from my yearly ski trip and was reminded again why I keep going back there (besides the scant 14 hour drive from Houston).

The people there were incredible, the lift lines were almost nonexistent. I was skiing with two beginners, one had never even seen skis and the other had had an abortive trip to Park City derailed by a bad instructor. Fot the first two day I skied alone and shared 2 lifts total. Prices on the hill were more than reasonable. I can't say enough about it.

The snow was OK until last Tuesday when 70 degree temps turned a good bit of the bottom to slush. I steer clear of bumps so I mainly ran down relatively steep blues, and they were fast. Two pretty big crashes left some bruises, but they were single car only.
