ALTA opening w/136"

Well, sometimes you just have to wait before you can open your presents. You know kind of like when you were a kid waiting for Christmas. Well, Ullr has blessed the Wasatch and Wed. we get to open our present of 136 inches. Yes, ALTA opens at 9:15 on Nov 28th, and I'll be there. just checked the nws site and here's what they say. In short, more snow Wednesday night, , Thursday,Friday.

.HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE AREA TONIGHT WILL SHIFT EAST WEDNESDAY AHEAD
OF A NEW PACIFIC STORM. THIS SYSTEM WILL SPREAD A MOIST
SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW OVER THE AREA...STARTING LATE WEDNESDAY AND
PERSISTING THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT. A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE AREA
ON FRIDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL RETURN FOR THE WEEKEND.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH VALID
WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH NOON FRIDAY. THIS WATCH INCLUDES...ALL
MOUNTAINS IN UTAH AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST IDAHO...THE GREAT SALT LAKE
DESERT...THE WASATCH FRONT EXCEPT FOR THE SALT LAKE AND TOOELE
VALLEYS...THE CACHE VALLEY...AND THE PRICE CASTLE COUNTRY AREA.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6-12 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS AND 1-2 FEET IN THE
MOUNTAINS ARE EXPECTED BY NOON FRIDAY. SNOW WILL DEVELOP DURING THE
EVENING WEDNESDAY OVER THE NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA...AND
WILL SPREAD SOUTHEASTWARD OVERNIGHT. SNOW WILL CONTINUE...HEAVY AT
TIMES INTO FRIDAY...THEN TAPER OFF.

SNOW...OR RAIN AND SNOW MIXED...IS EXPECTED OVER THE MAJORITY OF
UTAH...SOUTHEASTERN IDAHO AND SOUTHWESTERN WYOMING DURING THIS
TIME...BUT THE GREATEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED IN THE WATCH
AREA. IN ADDITION...LOCALLY STRONG SOUTH WINDS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE
MOUNTAINS AND WESTERN VALLEYS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
THURSDAY...CREATING AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

PERSONS TRAVELING IN UTAH AND ADJACENT AREAS WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS AND PLAN
