Hola! I hope this forum accepts questions for European (specifically Spain) resorts.
We are planning a trip for 5 days in Sierra Nevada (Granada area), and 7 days in Aragon Pyreenes for Formigal, Candanchu, and Astun. We skied Soldeu and Ordino in Andorra, as well as Baqueira last year, and liked all three (except for FOG in Baqueira and shoddy Kids' Center in Soldeu for our 4 yr. old). Can any kind skier offer insights as to quality, lodging, etc. for the upcoming period feb. 23-March 8?? THANK YOU and MIL GRACIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gpaul,
I can only speak about Sierra Nevada as its the only resort in Spain that i have skied on .I ski there about once a week as it,s only just under 3 hr drive from my home town in Gibraltar. If you are lucky and the top pistes are not closed due to high/strong winds you,ll have a good choice off varied gradient slopes to choice from. The period you are looking at is normally quite reliable in terms of snow quality. Would avoid weekends as it does get quite crowded. For more infomation on actual resort log onto www.sierranevadaski.com . There you will find indepth info on day passes, weather ,hotel prices etc. If you need any more info please PM me, will be glad to help out.
