Biggest ski/snowboard stores in Denver?

Looking to shop before I get into the mountains...

Evo just opened in Denver. They not only have their own stock, but availability from their warehouse, and other stores. From what I can tell with their Portland store opening. Evo is commited to doing it right. Not just opening a store where their only focus is pushing product.

Welcome to EpicSki!  When I have time, I like to head to the Denver REI.  There is a ski shop about a block away with a bunch of stuff that makes it worth the stop.  It's on the corner next to several good places to eat.  Can park for free for an hour or two when shopping at the REI.

When I really have time . . . the only Arc'teryx outlet store in the U.S. is about 45 min south of Denver. :)

Also recommend the Evo store fka Edgeworks, great selection, clearly much more snowsport specific than REI. The flagship REI store is great if you need a bigger selection for clothes, bags, etc. and you can also swing by Wilderness Exhange, which is essentially across the street from REI.

Would never suggest anyone go to REI for ski gear unless they know specifically what they need/want from experience.

When you live in the flatlands in the southeast where it's relatively warm during the winter, it's nice to look at stuff in person that could be ordered online . . . and returned to the local REI if necessary.  I don't go looking for ski gear (boots, skis), but more for clothing, outerwear, and little stuff like ski wax, gloves, face masks, etc.  Do find it interesting to look at nordic or AT gear, but not really in the market.

Christy Sports is going to be a good choice. They have a large selection PLUS they have all of the other stores in the hills. So, if you shop in Denver and you and your sales guy decide you need something different than what they have on hand he has the chance that he might be able to find it up the hill. This could still turn out to be convenient for you.
