Interesting/complicated/scary stories from La Grave?-Please do tell

I have never been and I'm 47.  Its too extreme for me.  Any place that has nothing marked and requires poles, Beacon and the shovel is no-go for me.

Ever consider asking all of your questions in one thread?

11 of the threads on the first page were started by you. Most seem trolly.

I'm surprised the mods aren't on this.....

Yes I could certainly do this.  I just thought it was easier this way but if people want me to change I certainly will

Someone just suggested asking all my questions on one Thread so as not to take over the first page.  I will try it that way.

You don't have to quote yourself to reply. Just start typing in the box.

I doubt you'll find many members of this forum who have experience in La Grave. Most members here are from North America, and La Grave is entirely off piste (i.e., it requires a guide and off-piste safety equipment) and is less famous and farther away from Geneva airport than Chamonix. On top of that, there are plenty of other resorts in the Alps that have very good off-piste terrain in addition to more groomers, more lifts, and more facilities in town than La Grave.

So, it's just not a destination that most people on this forum will have on their radar.

To OP....ever consider that this is a Ski Forum?....not a facebook page to talk about every "Have you Ever, Please Tell, ..... sharing of your daily life".  Occasional "out there" questions are okay.  But flooding us with them within a one week time frame is a bit over the top IMO.  Not trying to censor you (that's the mods job).  But most people on here will probably respect your posts more if you keep it real and serious the majority of the time.  We care about each other (well, to an extent ;)), but not to the point of having a group hug and all skiing down the same trail at the same time.

Lately, coming on here seems like going to a forum with silly teenage girls talking about anything and everything.

You've stumbled onto a great forum.  Learn the "pulse" of it and enjoy it.  It's a wealth of information.

I am learning I have become much more serious lately.  I was just looking for good ski stories.  I will come to a screeching halt starting a lot of topics.
