My pops and I are looking to book our annual ski trip out west.
We're both advanced skiers that like steep challenging terrain and exploring around the mountain.
So far we've been lucky enough to ski, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Deer Valley, The Canyons, Snowbasin, Vail, Steamboat, Jackson Hole, and Whistler/Blackcomb together.
This year we're looking to do our trip towards the end of January.
So far we are considering Big Sky, although my dad read in a few places that the snow quality typically is not that good in late January there?
We've also wanted to ski Telluride for a few years now, but he's a bit worried about altitude sickness. Is this typically an issue? We've never had issues with the altitude at the other mountains we've been to...
We're going to look into Squaw as well.
Just read a bit about Mount Baker as well. Looks like a pretty cool option...
Any other suggestions we may be over looking?
