Looking at updating my WC GS skis and noticed that Dynastar/Look's newer race bindings have been updated with a new heel. One thing that I notice is that the new heel "arms" (white part on the heel) appears to be made of plastic. If you were buying a Dynastar race ski would you have any reservations (safety, durability) about putting the binding on? I weigh 195 lbs and I'm an aggressive skier. I can also buy an older version of the binding with metal arms.
I've been on Marker Comp 14.0s race bindings for a few years and I've had a recurring problem of plastic chunks falling off the heel cups (have warrantied them a couple of times) and perhaps that's why I'm a bit wary about the Dynastar/Look redesign.
