No secret there; I linked to your thread. In fact, I specifically stopped posting in your thread so it could get back on track - I hope you get some good song suggestions (no sarcasm).
Anyway, I never asked you to stop doing what you do, or asked you to defend it - I'm just asking you to consider that regardless of how quiet you play it, some people are going to find it inconsiderate. I'm not supposing that your intention is to disturb others and I take you at you word that you play it quietly. What you don't seem willing to accept - and all I'm trying to convey - is that playing music from a speaker in public does annoy people, no matter how quiet you think it is.
For that matter, virtually anything you do in public is going to sit wrong with someone - you have to decide if the effect you're having on other people is worth the benefit to you. All I tried to do in your thread was let you know that people are annoyed by the behavior you're reporting. I'll paraphrase what I said in the other thread:
If its loud enough for the the person next to you to enjoy it (i.e. "quiet"), you are annoying someone elsewhere. If you're cool with that, carry on.
