[POLL] Do you listen to music while skiing.. - Page 3

I tried to listen to music while skiing a long time ago. Walkman era. (you youngsters just ignore that. You'll have no idea what that is!) I could never get my rhythm to match the rhythm of the music, and viceversa. My skiing didnt improve, and my enjoyment didnt improve either.

Going up on the lifts was ok, but I like to talk to people on the chair, and people wont engage when you have earbuds in. So I stopped.

No; 71. I enjoy nature and the sounds of the skis...well...not on boilerplate. And I definitely want to hear other skiers and riders around me, as well as to be heard by them.

Senior with pass at KW.  Neither Y or N you will get.

Occasionally while riding up lifts if solo and infrequently while skiing groomers or easy fresh powder.   Dissassembled Sennheiser PX 100-II headphones stuffed into my Smith Variant Brim.  Inspiring classic rock and hard rock.  Am quick turny so can usually sync to music.    Music is a distraction in challenging terrain.
