WTB: Salomon 626 bindings, part or full.

New member, long time lurker, finally have a reason to post... I recently had the tension adjusting screw stop working on one of my Salomon 626 bindings and I am looking to replace that part. Will buy the full set or just the part, whatever you have. They're for a period correct vintage pair of skis that have already been drilled twice so I don't want redrill for another model or make. Not looking for free, willing to pay a reasonable price.  Thank you!

There's a pair of Rossi Cheyenne skis with 626s on ebay.

So funny enough I contacted the seller and agreed to pay too much for the bindings alone. But I needed them. This is what he sent me. I had to send them back and may or may not recover any money. Who would think that bindings generally destined for the waste bin would suddenly become unobtanium the second I try to find some. hahahaha  I think the 727's have the same hole pattern so would be interested if anyone has some of those they can let go of. As long as they work when sent, thats all I care. hah

Oh geez, that sucks. It looks like the plastic failed against the spring tension?  I had an old set of look bindings with plastic heel pieces...one day I found the heel piece broken and the spring across the room.  The plastic finally failed and "boom".

Kris77 look at the photos I attached and send me a PM if interested. I do not think the S727 has the same drilling pattern as the S626 they look the same but millimeter differences. Some of the newer S626 use a 3 hole toe configuration and the older are the 4 hole toe BTW the plastic is about 35 - 40 years old so at best it is a gamble.
