Crested Butte "CB Card", Good Deal?

Has anyone used the Crested Butte CB card?  Is it a good deal? Any small-print gotchas?

My reading of the web page is

Limit one CB Card per person per season.

Cost:  $69

Benefits:

1 day lift ticket

20% off regular price of add'l single day lift tickets

25% off adult group lessons

15% off rentals

20% off CBMR lodging booked thru Crested Butte Vacations

My girlfriend and I have booked air and lodging for January.  We'll likely ski 4 & 5 days, and GF may take a couple days lessons.

Thanks,

Paul

Keep tabs on if Shell does their BOGO deal. You'll have to put at least 10 gallons, then head inside and they'll give you the coupon.

Buy one ticket at window, and the other is on the house.

From memory, the shell program generally releases on January 1.

Thanks for the information on the Shell BOGO deal.  However, we expect to take a Shuttle from Gunnison to Crested Butte, so no need to buy gas. I wouldn't expect to use 10 gallons, even if we did rent a car.

On the other hand, I could hang around a local Crested Butte gas station offering to buy people 10 gallons of gas, but I'd fear being mistaken for some sort of shifty eyed prevert.

The gas stations in Michigan historically participated.  So if you can swing a fill up there, you can get the voucher to use in CO.  I do not recall if OH shell stations have participated in the past

FYI, it used to be that the voucher had to be bought and used in the same region.  I don't know if this is still the case since the new rules are not online yet.
