Wrong Timberline....this one is in West Virginia.  But please join us if you can! :)

Umm, the Timberline Gathering is in WV, not OR.  :)

I do have good friends who live in OR though.  Want to make it out there one of these days.

I am Officially out of this one . Work has me in CO from the 26th to March 4th. If I can figure out how to do the Friday I will but only for the day. The following weekend I will be stuck in the Denver area than right out to the Whistler gathering.

I am fully ticketed at T-Line and CVR. I should be around that weekend.

Unless you get towed?

Opps wrong Timberline. This is the one out West in Oregon. The lifts go way bellow the lodges and way above them.

Sorry Tom, different Timberline.  We're skiing the Timberline 4 Seasons Resort in West Virginia, not the Timberline ski area in Oregon.  Would be great to see you here though hahahaha!

This is looking at Timberline lodge from Mt. Hood Meadows where we ski. I thouhgt it would be cool to show you the ski area with the same name.

This is in August after a bad snow year, that is the summer ski area you see.

I've skied T-line in Oregon twice...once a week before July 4th, once a week after labor day.  Both times basically skied until around noon by which time it got too sloppy, by 2pm was in the pool at the hotel near Portland.  Awesome to be able to ski year round.  Plus one trip to Meadows in the middle of a snow storm. Nice place!

A little of the ski area we ski, Mt. Hood Meadows, we like it as it has much more challenging terrain. Maybe you guys will come out here some day.

Some of that terrain looks familiar....especially the first two pics.  If I ever get out that way again I'll look you up

I'd love to! One of these days... Oregon skiing is on the list for me at some point, but so are a lot of other places. So many great ski areas to visit! Thanks for the pics.

We always love seeing people from all over, so it would be nice to get together.

I'll post here in addition to the general post I just made, for all those subscribing to the thread:

Timberline came through with their early November promise of substantially discounted lift tickets for attendees of the Epic Ski Gathering.  Instead of $74 per day lift tickets, here's our breakdown, and it INCLUDES ski rentals for any in your groups who needs them:

Lift Tickets:

Friday,      24 Feb:  $20 per person

Saturday,  25 Feb:  $25 per person

Sunday,    26 Feb:  $25 per person

That per day goes up $5 if you need a snowboard rental instead of a set of skis.  Additional small cost for helmets or boots.

Lessons (group) for Level II and above:  $25 per person

To claim, come to the Group Sales Window inside the lodge, drop the magic word "Epic Ski," and voila.  If you're coming for three days, you can buy all days on your first visit to the window.

Sorry to have missed you guys. We were on a mission to find a proper backpack for Kathy to comfortably carry her new fangled oxygen converter while she skis.We might head to Stowe if the weather continues bleak in these parts.

Hello to all the Epic/DCSki crew.  I hope you give the Purple Fiddle a visit for some live music later tonight. They use to have afternoon free concerts on the weekend. Any talk of where next year's gathering could be? I have a three resort suggestion.

We've been discussing it. What are your suggestions.

House looks great.  Skiing in shorts means a good time. :)

I'm actually at Stowe right now.  Had another reason to be in New England so joining a Ski Diva meetup.  Drove in this afternoon just in time to get my MCP set up.  It's been raining since about 6:30pm and daytime temps were in the 60s at the base.  Cold front is already here.  Temp in the 30s and predicted to go into the 20s before morning.

Yep, weird for Feb for the heat wave to go quite so far north.

It's snowing and the hot tub is 105 degrees. I just got out but the pool is still open.

Thanks all for the great wknd.  It was nice to put faces with the names.  My friend and I enjoyed this gathering very much. Special thanks to @kitchener for arranging the accommodation and discount lift tickets.

For those that I will see you in WB, hope we can make some turns together.

For the rest, hope I will see you next year in mid-A gathering.
