Looking for an Alta lodge experience at JH or W/B

My kids love going to Disney World.  They say it's truly "magical."  My wife and I, on the other hand, had a magical vacation last January staying at Goldminer's Daughter in Alta.  We are considering returning just because we loved the lodge experience so much.  (Skiing at Alta/Bird isn't so bad, either.)

For those of you have stayed at an Alta lodge (GMD, Alta Lodge, Rustler, Snowpine, Peruvian), I am wondering if anyone has had similar accommodations at Jackson Hole or Whistler.  Any recommendations?

Do you want food to be included, or just going for the vibe at a lodge in Alta?

All of it!

The food, the vibe, the location...

The Alpenhof at Teton Village seems like the closest as far as Jackson Hole is concerned.

That's what I was thinking but didn't know if meals were included.  Definitely a good location.  The bar is much more relaxing for aprés than the Mangy Moose.

It appears that a "European breakfast" is included for Alpenhof guests.

The breakfast at the Alpenhof is very good and is included.  I really liked the fresh fruit, and the hot items were cooked to order.  The rooms are nice and the bar area is a fun place.  Hot tub and location of the property is ideal.  I would definitely stay there again.  In fact, I would probably choose a vacation staying at the Alpenhof over a trip at an Alta lodge.
