This post views fine when using a desktop chrome browser under Windows.

Since I can't go in that forum, I can't see it, but is it the Borowitz report? Maybe it was pasted in picking up those embedded ads? Needs to be pre-pasted in Notepad to strip them out, then pick up that and paste in the clean text.

No - that's not it. The problem also occurs when using the Safari mobile browser.

The post source itself looks pretty innocuous. It's basically a bunch of text lines embedded in

!p style="border:0px; color:rgb(18, 18, 18); margin-bottom:32px; margin-right:410px"! and !/p! tags (brackets replaced with "!")

Hey Rusty,

Sorry I started to look into it last night, on my phone is shows up like you posted, but on Mobile mode on my tablet there's no issues. I'm guessing it's an issue with some type of Copy pasted code not getting stripped or parsed properly. Since it's just one post I can't really report it unless it's causing more issues.

Tyler,

How many users view this stuff on their iphone in mobile mode ?

To me it's a rendering issue on certain platforms that huddler should address.

Usually once a bug is reproducable now is the time to get it fixed

To clarify what I said earlier, what I meant is that one post not showing up correctly isn't a bug so there was nothing to report. It'd be a bug if a bunch of them were doing it. There was obviously an issue with the formatting from it being copy pasted in so I didn't bother to do anything more, but since there was more complaints though I just went and fixed it.

He copied a bunch of text in that had the right margin said to a very high number (410 px to be exact), so when it rendered on mobile it was only showing one character per line due to the narrow screen resolution. I stripped out that padding and now it displays fine on mobile. My point was not that it wasn't reproducible, rather that it wasn't a bug.  It was showing up exactly as it was supposed to (because he just straight copy pasted from an article including its formatting).

The bold part is the problem.

But since hudler knows the browser platform and the screen size couldn't crazy margin settings be ignored or ajusted to fit the screen ?

And yes this is user inflicted but if there is a way to fix that type of user error well .....

Why not

No, the editor is provided by a third party, Huddler just licensew it. We'd have to mention that to them.
