Looking at the heated boots from Salomon (Quest 70) for my daughter this year (assuming they fit properly)
She needs new boots and I've always put Hottronics footbeds in because her feet gets extremely cold in almost any winter activity.
The Hottroncs are ok but a pain to install (have to cut the liner) and the battery packs are huge and heavy and hang on the ouside of the boot.I really like the idea of the Salomon heating system integration as it is less weight and the batteries stay warmer.
- Does anyone have any experience with these boots, even in the men's versions? I'm looking for feedback about how the heat system works more than the boots themselves.
